As I write this post I am filled with great joy knowing that God has blessed me in such a way that one of my dreams in life has been accomplished. In 1999, I was introduced to my wife, Elena, and at the same time I was introduced to Inductive Bible study. Elena is from Moldova where Inductive Bible study is thriving. When she came to the States she started a Bible study on the campus where I was studying to get a University degree. I went to her study and as I studied in the group she began to tell me about the Inductive Bible study Institute of Eurasia in Surduc, Romania. My dream was to go to the center, begin studying, and eventually graduate. I was able to take one session in the summer of 2002 and then it was 2 ½ years before I was able to return and continue. Those were the longest 2 ½ years that I have ever lived. In the Fall of 2004 my wife and I moved to Moldova and began serving the Lord through “English For a New Life? and attending the Institute. It has taken three long years of hard work but every second of it is worth it because as of today, I am a graduate of the Inductive Bible study Institute of Eurasia. My emotions are running high and I am so glad to have graduated next to my dear wife who brought me here. I have grown so much over the past three years that I do not have enough space and time to write all of it. When I came I did not have a well established vision for doing ministry and I did not understand the value of working in a team. While studying at the Institute I received a vision for the future and learned the value of working for the Gospel as a team with other dedicated members. Not only did I gain infinite Biblical knowledge from the Word of God but I also saw a living, breathing example before
me at all times. I learned what it means to have a mentor in life and how to minister along-side a mentor, watching him work and learning how to do the same. I want to thank Vasile Filat for his leadership and wisdom over the past three years. He has taught me the value of the Word of God and shown me how to apply It practically on a daily basis while serving others. I also want to thank Mia and Costel Oglice for being the founders of the Eurasian Precept Institute and all of the work and effort that they put in toward this ministry and also the wonderful sessions that they have led and will continue to lead. Last but definitely not least, I want to thank my lovely wife for introducing me to the Institute and helping me along the way by remaining beside me at all times and encouraging me. My next goal is to graduate as a professor and I pray that the Lord will help me obtain this dream as He has done so far. I love the Institute because it has taught me how to be an efficient worker for the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May God bless you.
