Today I have read awful statistics in “USA Today” newspaper. There was an announcement that advertised condoms. Here is the image with the statistics:

The USA population is nearly 300 mln. The numbers presented in statistics are awful and they require urgent actions. I don’t know what is the situation in our Moldova, but it is clearly that previuos two years provided the growth of immorality as well as the rate of sexuually transmitted diseases.
The next image shows the action plan that the authors of this announcement presents to the readers of the paper.

In the end of the announcement appeared this inscription.

People are invited to become a part of solving this problem by visiting the website of the condoms’ producers. How? Which way? By buying condoms and before giving them, to talk to teenagers at their homes or at school. I think that…
Those who produce condoms promote the extent of sexually transmitted diseases even more
Here are my arguments based on the same announcement:
- The word “condom” is used for five times in this announcement, while the word “abstinence” is used only once. So, the word “condom” was used as a key word deliberately to send a message that will make all teenagers, young people, their parents and all readers think that condom is the solution, and not abstinence.
- When a parent or teachers from school talk to a teenager and tell him/her how important it is to use condoms, these lessons or bad advice are like tickets to immoral practices.
- America is a rich country and because there are so many programs teenagers allow themselves to buy condoms. Why then the numbers od STD are in a permanent growth? Because those who promote condoms use, promote the immorality as well.
And the Word of God says:
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. (Galatians 6:7)(NASB)
And it also says:
Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (Hebrews 13:4)(NASB)
All teenagers and all people that are involved in sexual activities before marriage commit fornication and it will be punished by God. This truth also refers to those who commit adultery, that are those who are part of the marriage covenant and are led by immorality and change their covenant partner.
