A bride in boots on the tank

On Saturday, while I and my family were on our way to a wedding, where I was invited to officiate the wedding ceremony, we had an interesting discussion. Our daughter, Tica said that in future, at her wedding, after they would take many pictures, she would like to change her shoes and put on a pair of boots and then to go and take many pictures wearing the wedding dress and the boots, where tanks and other military technics were.

All of us laughed at that thing and I asked her if she was sure her husband would allow her do that. I was curious to find out the answer. She hesitated and I advised her not to marry the one who wouldn’t allow her do that. I said that because I wanted our daughter to marry a man who knew to respect the freedom and the personality of his wife.

Then, Tica told us something very interesting about her wish for her future husband, and she said this:

If I were to jump off the bridge, I want my future husband neither to jump with me nor to try to convince me not to jump, but to run under the bridge and to catch me in his arms. I want to marry such kind of man.

What kind of person are you? What kind of friend? What kind or husband or wife? How do you act when your neigbour is in a difficult situation? Do you know to run and to catch in your arms those who are ready to jump off the bridge?
