Russian portal of Christian news www.prochurch.info published a news that announced the anti same-sex sex marriages referendum from California that will be hold together with the presidential election on the 4th of November 2008. Debra Bowen, California secretary of state says that citizens collected enough signatures to qualify for the ballot. Protect Marriage coalition came together against same-sex marriages. We have to learn some important things from all this.
Letters and signature collection are an efficient way to fight against immorality
Recently, one of the leaders of the church from Moldova has been asked if Christians have to solicit the outlaw of Gender Doc-M organization through letters, and he said that this can not be done through letters or signature collection. But we can see that in United States of America letters played an important part in this situation. One can say that this is possible in USA, but not in Moldova. No, it is possible in Moldova too. Let us remember how many things have been accomplished after collecting signatures and sending letters of the citizens: “Deprinderi de viata” (Life skills) manual was banned in schools, the mayor of Chisinau, Vasile Ursu, ordered the withdrawal of all immoral advertising panels, and the gay pride was banned all these years only through the letters and signatures of citizens. So, we have enough proofs that letters and signatures of the citizens have been taken into account and have influenced the decisions of government.
Actual project of Antidiscrimination Law from Moldova offers all possibilities to those who want to spread immorality
California Supreme Court threw out state laws banning same-sex marriages in May and is prepared to offer marriage licenses to same-sex couples beginning June 17. According to the same article, there are over 100.000 same-sex “families” in California and almost 25% “educate” children. This great evil has been tolerated and homosexuals have been allowed to promote their immorality, these are the results and see how many people suffer from this great evil. You can imagine how many will suffer henceforth and it will not be a wonder to have a pride in California with 3 million homosexuals, as it was organized this year in Brasil. Why authorities don’t want to understand that homosexuality is a great evil that spreads very quickly and affects people’s minds and lives? If “sexual orientation” term will be accepted in the project of Antidiscrimination Law, this will offer homosexuals all rights to spread their immorality and to destroy many lives and families.
Let us unite our forces together and ask for the exclusion of this term from this project of law.
