The team of journalists of the Free Newspaper had their last meeting in a new office, that is in the Press House from Chisinau. We don’t have many things there at the moment, but this was not an obstacle to have a productive meeting.
In the beginning we evaluated the previous number and we discussed how to avoid mistakes. Then, we made plans concerning next editions of the newspaper.
We want to apply a new strategy for the newspaper: we want to attach a certain subject in every edition. This subject will be touched from different points of view of different people. So, the next edition (June, 3rd) will touch the subject of choosing a profession, knowing that many young people graduate the school and have this great choice where to learn further on. So, in that number we will present the advice of people who work in the Ministry of Education, of parents, teachers, and politicians. And we will also present useful information for graduates regarding different Universities, etc. I will also write an article where I am going to present what the Bible teaches concerning choosing a profession.
Then, the next edition (June, 10th) will be about having a summer rest and we will see what doctors recommend us, the proposals of travel and agreement agency, we will offer useful information for those who look for a place where to rest in summer and, of course, I will write an article to present what the Bible teaches about rest.
We took the initiative to create the Free Newspaper when we we realized that a great number of journalists do not promote moral principles and do not present the reality the way it is. I encouraged a lot of young people to go and study Journalism and we created this newspaper when they still were freshmen, having no stable financial sources. Most reporters still work as volunteers until now, and, besides writing, they go to present the newspaper to people, sell it, so that we may print next editions.
The office is a great need and God answered to it, but now it is a new challenge to pay the rent.
I want to thank a lot the editor-in-chief, Ion Druta and all journalists that serve people with a lot of passion.
I want to thank all those who contribute and contributed to the success of the newspaper. Today, when I was coming to the office, Ion Druta and Radu Blendarencu, who are columnists for Political portret and Sport, were carrying some tables offered as a help from Ilie Coada, a NGO leader from Tintareni. He also gave some chairs for the office.
I want to appeal to all readers of the Free Newspaper that understand the importance of developing this project, through which the Word of God is spread and will continue to be spread throughout the whole country. We ask you to contribute with the next things, according to your own resources:
