Yesterday evening I had the joy and opportunity to be invited to a camp organized by Anatol Andriuta, the youth leader of the Evangelical Baptist Churches Union from Moldova. Those about 200 young people came from different parts of the country with their leaders and studied the Holy Scriptures this whole week.
I chose to preach according to the following text from the Holy Scriptures:
Then He (Jesus) began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent. ”Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. Nevertheless I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will not be exalted to heaven, will you? You will descend to Hades; for if the miracles had occurred in Sodom which occurred in you, it would have remained to this day. Nevertheless I say to you that it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.” (The Gospel of Matthew 11:20–24)(NASB)
In the end of the message, I invited those who were not in covenant with God through faith in the Lord Jesus and by repentance, to enter then. Blessed be God for those about 40 young men and women who chose to enter the covenant that evening.
Then, I presented them the situation with the Bill on Preventing and Resisting Discrimination. I told them how that meeting at the Minister of Justice took place on July, 8th, then I presented them the actions we had taken before and what we wanted to do later. I also took with me some papers for signature collecting, very few copies of the Free Newspaper and that brochure where I presented the reasons why we wanted to remove the term “sexual orientation” from the Bill. I appealed to all those young people to sign the papers and to go to their localities to collect signatures from people and to send them to the Parliament. As soon as I finished my discourse, they run into their rooms to bring their passports and to sign those charts, then they took papers with the chart for signature collecting and the other materials I had with me, to go to their villages and to inform people to take attitude and to send petitions to the country Parliament.
May God bless all of them for the beautiful attitude they have taken and help them to follow Him with faith all their life!
