The first conference of Christian Businessmen from Moldova took place on Monday, April, the 7th.
Over 20 participants, businessmen and teachers of God’s Word, came at the conference. In the beginning we tried to find out the expectations of each participant, so that we could meet their needs. Most of them told they wanted to know how to apply God’s principles in their business and how to be more efficient in sharing the Gospel through what they did. Tudor Poiata and Andrei Ionita, the initiators of this project presented their vision and plans for future, asking each partcipant to become active members of the association.
I taught business principles from the book of Genesis, following up the example of Abraham, who had his own business and who was a model in this regard for all times. We looked at the basic principles that brought success in business, and how a businessman should behave correctly with the people from the same team and with those with whom he co-operated occasionally.
In the evening we had an interesting discussion when all of us tried to define what would correctness in business mean.
The conference continues today and I am going to teach two more lessons how one can plan his business efficiently and how to use his income to be enriched in the Kingdom of Heavens. Today, Veceaslav Ionita, a famous economic analyst will explain the role of the associations and how they can be efficient in business and in spreading the Gospel.
This is the first conference and we are glad for all those who came and for all plans we managed to make. May God bless all of us to perform them.
