Saturday, 18th of May, after the protest “No to imposed immorality” from the Central Square of Chisinau was over, I and my family went to Lapusna, mine and my wife’s native village, where the sportive festival took place. When we arrived there, the event “wrestling for a ram” was going on.

All wrestlers were strong and some wrestlings continued for half an hour, because no wrestler gave up. I rejoiced greatly to see how during the competition, young men and women were walking among people and asking them to sign the Address Protest which asked the outlaw of the homosexual organization “Gender Doc-M”. Some people didn’t know what was going on, but when they were explained, they were very indignant and signed those papers.

Before the semi-final had to begin, the wrestlers were given a pause and the TaeKwonDo team that came from Chisinau had a very beautiful presentation. Most sportsmen from this team are from Lapusna, or they are instructors of the sportsmen that came. We are proud to have sportsmen from our village that are known in Europe and in the whole world.
After the presentation was over, the semi-final continued and then, I encouraged the sportsmen and all the villagers that came to this festival.

I also spoke from the Word of God and I urged them to go to the churches from the village to search the face of God. I said them the truth about the resurrection of Jesus Christ once again and that the greatest evidence of His resurrection is my changed life.

Then the final began. Andrei Buhnea, a very skilful wrestler showed his mastership and became the champion.

When the competition was still going on, I disscussed a little with Stefan Solonaru. He is and old man and I saw how he was looking at the wrestling and I asked him if he used to wrestle when he was younger. He told me that once, he gained a ram in Romania and another one in Balti. I mentioned this thing to all people, and Sergiu Filat, one of the organizers of this competition, a TaeKwonDo trainer, and the leader of the Bible study group from Lapusna offered 150 lei for Mr. Stefan Solonaru, as a gift from the Bible study group.

Ion Chiosa, the headman from Lapusna showed a great passion looking at the whole competition, and then, in the ending, he encouraged the sportsmen and all people, and gave a big ram to the champion and all of us took a picture.

The organizers prepared a New Testament for everyone. At the end of the competition, everyone went home happy and fulfilled that such a great festival was in their village. We thank the headman and the organizers a lot.
I also found out from the participants, that the soccer team “Tintasii” defeated the soccer team from Mingir, who were the champions of the country championship “Guguta” last year. We thank a lot their trainer, Radu Blendarencu, who trains this team very passionately.
When I talked to Ion Chiosa, the headman of Lapusna, he told me his future plans to rebuild the sports ground and to raise the sports in the village to the highest level. May God help him in all these good plans that he has and for which he works with perseverance. May God bless him and all workers from our village Lapusna.
